Wanting to play rugby in Sydney? Welcome to Drummoyne District Rugby Football Club, (DDRFC) home of “The Dirty Reds”. Fielding teams playing rugby in the Inner West Mini competition (U6-U9), Sydney Junior Rugby Union Sunday competition (U10-U16), Colts and Seniors in Division One of the NSW Suburban Rugby competition. The home of playing rugby in Sydney, at the best oval in our district of Drummoyne, encompassing the Inner West suburbs of Balmain, Drummoyne, Birchgrove and Rozelle.

Drummoyne Rugby – Juniors

Drummoyne fields teams in the Inner West Mini competition (U6-U9) with a great mix of committed parents, coaches and kids who aim to encourage running, fun rugby. DDJRU follows the ARU Junior Rugby Player Pathway employing the Walla Rugby form of the game for U6 and U7’s; the Mini Rugby form for U8 and U9’s then Midi Rugby form for U10, U11 and U12’s. Drummoyne fields 5 grades and a colts team in the NSW Suburban Rugby competition or Subbies Rugby. We cater for rugby players in Sydney of all abilities, size and culture, which allows for those seeking to play social rugby in Sydney or for those wanting to play competitive rugby in Sydney.
